A gentleman from Saudi Arabia once faced one of the darkest moments of his life a severe spinal cord injury from a fracture at the thoracic vertebrae (T11-T12). After undergoing pedicular screw fixation surgery, he was left unable to walk, unable to move his legs, and dependent on a wheelchair and Foley catheter.

A CT scan from his home country revealed a severe canal compression a condition that causes extreme pressure on the spinal cord. The prognosis was discouraging, and hope seemed almost lost.
